BacMam

For easy to transfect cells:

For 16 reactions (2 chamber slides), mix
320 uL BacMam
480 uL media (w/ serum)
10 uL NaButyrate (500 mM)
Total volume 810 uL

Add 50 uL of above to each well of two 8-well chamber slides that have 100 uL of fresh media already in them (total volume in each well will be 150 uL).

Incubate 4-6 hrs, then remove transfection media and replace with 200 uL fresh media (with serum) containing 2 mM NaButyrate media (4 ml media + 8 uL 500 mM NaButyrate)

For harder to transfect cells: 

Double the above recipe and add 100 uL to each well of the 8-well chamber slides that have 100 uL of fresh media already in them (total volume in each well will be 250 uL).
